Medinah Energy Makes Announcement- February 02, 1998 09:45 ------------------------------------------------------------ LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 1998--Medinah Energy Inc. is pleased to announce that Mr. Paul Jones, Mining Engineer and Registered Professional Geologist, has accepted an appointment to the Board of Directors of the company. Paul will head up the Chilean projects as Vice President of Exploration and Development with Clarence Thomasson as Division Manager. Clarence has been in Chile for the past 8 months overseeing the operations in Andacollo and reviewing the potential acquisition of two additional properties.
Paul Jones has extensive experience in mining and development of large projects. He has worked as a Manager, mining and milling, General Manager, Director, Field Engineer etc., for companies such as Sonorem, South Africa, Minas San Cristobal, El Salvador, National Resources Development Inc., Nevada, Compania Minera Los Angeles, Honduras, Fluor Utah, New Mexico, Cimarron Silver Mine, Idaho, etc.. Paul discovered a new ore body at the Copper king Mine in Washington State, discovered the Montana Tunnels deposit, at Helena Montana, with published reserves of 2 million ounces of gold and 20 million ounces of silver and as a Mining Engineer to the Korean Mining Industry in Seoul, recommended 6000 meters of tunneling and shaft sinking which yielded new ore bodies of lead, zinc, copper, gold, silver, tungsten and molybdenum. Paul has a B. S., Mining Engineering, (with honors) from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and is Registered Professional Geologist no.51, State of Idaho.
