Medinah Energy Makes Announcement -Dec. 17, 1997
LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-
--Medinah Energy Inc. is pleased to announce that management has entered negotiations to acquire two additional mining properties in Chile.

The properties are located about four hours, by road, north east of Santiago. A vein structure on one of the properties has been traced on surface for a distance in excess of two kilometers. Sampling of vein material produced high grade assay results of up to 70 grams of gold per ton with an overall average exceeding 10 grams of gold per ton. The vein width varies from approximately two to 15 meters. An adit was driven into the mountain to intersect the vein at depth and, in the process, crosscut an additional previously unknown vein. These structures are of sufficient width and grade to support traditional underground mining and the adit will be used as the base for an immediate production operation.

The Company Mining Engineer is returning from the properties and his report is expected immediately. Additional information will be released as soon as Management has reviewed all of the available data. Medinah Energy Inc. has plant and equipment in Chile sufficient to begin immediate production.

On behalf of the Board of Directors
