Patroller,
QNTM revised growth from 100% till March and 50-60% after that to essentially tracking server growth, which they pegged at 20-40%. So it was quite a revision. I am sure that double ordering in tight times had a lot to do with that, though it wouldn't appear to explain it all. I was (and still partly am) hoping that those reduced projections would prove to be low-balling, so that expectations wouldn't get out of hand (as they obviously had been by everyone, including QNTM itself).
Anyway, I THINK that the inventory/catching up with the earlier double ordering explanation may account for a fair bit of the reduced orders to JBIL. I hope so, anyway. If it is more than a short term inventory problem, then QNTM breaks through 18 in the next few months.
Best,
Sam
