I dont know how much my words are needed. the people that you are "debating" with do far more to hurt their position than any words I can say. If anyone thinks that what is being displayed here is "Christian" behavior, I would disagree. As a friend of mine said, Anyone can quote obscure pieces of scripture. Anyone can take that scripture out of context and twist it to fit their ends. What is harder, is to get the true meaning of the Bible as a whole. Anybody who tries to preach hatred or intolerance for Christians or non-Christians alike, just doesn't get it, IMO.
