I wonder how some of you deal with vacations and other times away from trading. I have set stop orders on Nasdaq stocks but that's not possible yet for NYSE. Does Datek plan to introduce stop orders for NYSE stocks and when?

I did have a thought while looking at the Super-Express third party HTML interface.

stockclub.com

Wouldn't it be pretty simple to create a program or applet that could let you input a stop price for a symbol, periodically query the quotes, determine if the price is at or below your indicated stop price, then go to a preset Super-Express interface to effectively press the appropriate Enter button and trigger a market order? I know it's a little slower than Datek doing it, but it might give some level of safety with NYSE stocks when you have to be offline for a week.

Any thoughts?
