SAN DIEGO, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that it will engage in a joint research program with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). The program will focus on QUALCOMM's proprietary Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology. At a signing ceremony between QUALCOMM and BUPT, QUALCOMM also announced that it is sponsoring a scholarship for professors and students of BUPT studying CDMA technology.
