Rocky, Iomega might be pursuing the correct strategy by cross licensing its Vapor! technology to Matsushita and Citizen. If they can get Sony to embrace it, then the other consumer electronics camera guys will come in line. (If not Sony, then maybe Nikon? I don't know the camera market. I use the Walmart $6 disposables) But as long as IOM gets a revenue stream where they have none now, that is a positive. Your long term question whether Vapor! can withstand the new technologies coming against it (MR, GMR, OAW) is certainly valid. Their only hope is to lower the price of the 40mb cartridges to $5, similar to the price you pay for film. I don't think i need 400mb of disk storage data like the IBM drive touts for a camera. Much easier to store and organize separate film cartridges. Also, if you lose one, its no big deal. BL
