Okay... I just spoke to Barry at Ameriresources/Tomahawk. (That's how he answered the telephone...)

The financials... He indicated to me that they are now working on the 1997 finacials. He stated the 1996 financials are completed. They plan to release the 96 and 97 financials in tandum in the near future. I didn't try to pin him to an exact date. I left it at that, although I did iterate to him the anxiety that many people who follow the stock are feeling over the delay. He indicated that they are sensitive to that, and assured me that the financials are forthcoming. I described to him the ARET following that exists here in cyberspace, and he stated that they while they are aware of it, they don't monitor what transpires here.

The number of outstanding shares issued... I asked about the number of outstanding shares, and he was quick to tell me 150,000,000 shares have been issued.

The possibility of a reverse split in the foreseeable future...
He stated that there are absolutely no plans for this, and this will not even be considered until at least a full year of positive earnings occurs.

The rumor of "good news" after the financials... He didn't go into specifics, but he did say that "good news" would follow the financials.

The use of Businesswire or the like from now on... He stated they intend to use Businesswire to release information from now on.

The Fluor deal... He has stated that they had to resubmit their bid at the request of Fluor recently, in concert with another company, Dunn Industries. He said they expect an answer within 10 days. I didn't ask who their bidding competitor is, but they probably don't know anyway.

My own impressions/conjecture... I felt as though I was speaking with someone who wasn't very concerned with public relations, and I don't mean this in a bad way at all. I received a strong impression that they don't follow this stock, but that they are concerned with the well being of their company, which is a good thing, IMO. I requested an investor package, and he said they will send me one that will include the 96/97 financials, but that it may "be awhile." I didn't ask him to define "awhile." I also didn't ask about Delmar or anything like that. Barry seemed like a cordial individual, and answered each question that I posed to him. He even asked me what the stock was trading at today, and laughingly stated that they never follow it. I end the call by telling him that we will look forward to the financials and press releases.

This is my personal account of my call to ARET. I'm sharing this with the group, but I don't invite or encourage anyone to take my words at face value. I encourage everyone to call ARET on your own, and then relay along your account of events, so that we may all compare notes.

Regards,
John
