Emile is a well known Christian here. He claims to be. He is clear when it comes to what he believes. He knows that Christians are persecuted today just like the Jews were. He believes this.
Michael, the rational man, doesn't look for religious thinking, he looks for rational thinking, so let us examine Emile's statement rationally. Remember, Emile is a Christian. He believes certain things about the Bible, if you are not sure what Emile believes and wish to question him about it, remember, he sees his role here not as a rational man, he does not have to accept the equivalency of Judaism and Christianity on the world stage, he is a Christian. Christians believe that all others should become Christians as well. It may not be appealing to a rational man, but religious men can understand it.
Is Emile a bigot ???
That is a rational question. Christians often seem like bigots, a sure way to see is to watch them and see how they treat the Body of Christ, that is, all Christians everywhere who believe in and have been redeemed by the Blood of Christ. Because Christians believe on the Christ and acknowledge that ALL AUTHORITY is his they may often appear intolerant. This is justified for any religious thinker, the intolerance must be directed to anything which teaches "hate", those in the Body have been redeemed by "Love", this is what Christians believe.
A bigot has it all figured out, read Emiles post here and ask yourself, if I knew Emile was a religious man, a Christian, and knew that Michael Cummings was rational, what could have prompted Michaels Anti- Semitism attack.
Emile, in answer to your question. Americans believe in Freedom of Speech, any one who threatens that freedom of speech has an agenda, I too am puzzled why such a specific segment of interest presents such a unified stance in America of all places. They must have known they would get voted or laughed down. The Jews have an agenda, like Christians. I too am puzzled by the fact that Michael would attack you for asking these questions. Maybe he and Nancy are buds, did you stop to think of that. If anyone isn't sure who Nancy is, she is a Christian who has been caught up in a little drama over on Ask God
