Humbly report, Waldemar, regarding why TAVA instead of just internal:

In fact it is not simply a case of either/or.

TAVA works with the engineers you speak of.

TAVA has an extensive database of embedded systems, the utilization of which (via the TAVA CD) is at the disposal of the client company in question (for a nice fee that is).

It benefits TAVA to have the client's engineers involved in the process, since TAVA does not have nearly enough engineers to do all the embedded systems remediation that is necessary - industry-wide.

In a nutshell:

TAVA helps to assess the problem.
Client chooses how to proceed.
TAVA helps in the remediation process, or not, depending on the client.
