<<Yes, I'm looking forward to what Eric B. has to say about ramp-up of V.90 modems
and expected sales going forward. Also curious about projected staffing levels going
forward.>>

Exactly! - how's he going to make these new modems sell!
Last night, was reading some of Scrapps news articles on
56K modem integration into the ISP and user world. Doesn't
sound good - too much feet draging. I think that COMS needs
to really put a lot of emphasis on marketing and educating
the public on why the world can now move up to 56K.

<<One nice thing is that European networking sales seem to be taking off. Cisco is
experiencing faster than 30 to 50% growth there!>>

Great!! How sure are you about this. If this is the case
I'll be putting some more $$ to work on CSCO. Took it
out a month ago. Was starting to worry about a temporary
peak and subsequent slowdown. Europe could really change
the story. I know their stock makerts have been doing well,
economies are picking up well - hopefully just a matter of
time that they try to catch up with the US in their
adaptation to a network enterprise environment.

My opinion on the ramp up: Shorts are buying to cover
for possibly short squeeze if reports are positive.
Long term investors mostly in already.

Any body have any different takes??
