A quick recap of the DROM conference call that took place today.
The call began with a review of what took place at the meetings with the USGA last weekend......it was basically a recap of the news release issued yesterday. The response from the USGA was VERY excited and exceeded DROM's expectations. In addition to the USGA, DROM is talking with the PBA{professional bowlers assoc} College Football hall of Fame{meeting next week} and DROMS college program which includes LeeHigh and Lafayette University.
The initial review was presented by Dr. Vertucci. Scott Klieman then gave a brief history of what lead to these recent meetings. The initial USGA "pilot" program was to be for 5 clubs but expanded to 30 clubs due to the response.
The USGA executive committe is meeting for the rest of this week and a final endorsement isn't expected until next week or possibly the second week of Nov. In the meantime DROM is in discussions with regional clubs and proceeding in negotiations.
There were Financail projects made of 6 Mil in revenue and profits of 1.5 mil for the fiscal year 5/1-4/30.
*I* thought the tone of the conference was VERY positive and we should be hearing more from DROM in the coming weeks.
There were a few others on the call whose names i recognized so hopefully they will help fill in any of the gaps in this quick update.
