Jeff, it was ACLY (and Geimer) that started the focus on FORTRAN. That is why my post is titled: The FORTRAN myth: An ACLY red herring exchange2000.com It now appears that ACLY agrees with me ... that the number of FORTRAN programs that are date dependent is indeed very small! Regards, Bill
