That is US$2.67 billion per year. Business Week alleges that 50 per cent of NASDAQ BB and Small Cap, US$10 billion, is in chop stock ALONE, which doesn't include hype and pump and dump...I don't think we can fairly say that 50 per cent of the stocks in Vancouver are frauds. If they are, why not just short them and we'd all be millionaires? At least in Vancouver, we can look at all the news releases and public files on all the stocks. The bids I see in the machine are real. There is no such thing as chop stock, which saves us a lot of trouble. There are no market makers who can blatantly ignore client orders to manipulate a stock...I can go on and on, but what's the point? I am not here to convert anybody. I don't have to go on about junk bonds, bid rigging on CBOT and CME, Nasdaq...I make a fabulous living trading these Canadian "dogs and cats" both long and short. I should just shut up and let people do whatever...
