This is not old news. Citizen was one of many companies which "endorsed" Clik! at it's introduction, but at that time no licensing agreement had been signed. This is a breakthrough.

Licensing Clik! makes a whole lot of sense for Iomega. It will help to speed up the widespread deployment of Clik! devices. Moreover, it gets Clik! drives to market without Iomega having to burn cash to ramp production as quickly as if they were making all the drives themselves. As with most Iomega products, the profit is in the media.
