Don: Great quarter! Product sales mix proved to be very interesting and somewhat a surprise to me. With the equipment business heading into a severe recession I was a little concerned. I did fail to consider that unit growth in commodity products is still strong and these components need materials. I was also happy to see that the transition to next generation reagent sales is expanding faster than anticipated. I am puzzled, like you are, that there was no mention about progress at Candescent Technology Corp. (CTC) While ATMI has delivered what they promised there is still a substantial investment in this project. This puzzling de-emphasis of CTC over the last two quarters necessitates another question to Dean Hamilton. All in all a great and refreshing quarter for a great company, ATMI. Regards, Jack
