>>Today's remarks by the CEO in my opinion were dumb!

Which do you think is better; setting low expectations and exceeding them, or setting high expectations and falling short?

Microsoft has been setting low expectations for the past several quarters, but they always seem to exceed those expectations.

The CEO of Spyglass is not dumb and neither are the Marketing people who make up the press releases. Spyglass expects to make significant investments in its R&D operations this next quarter along with building up Sales and Marketing. Only a fool would declare that these things would not have a possible impact on the bottom line.

I can appreciate and I share your concern over the stock price. However, any effect that these comments have had will not be long lasting. Ultimately, company performance will determine the share price. I'm going to hang onto my SPYG and enjoy the ride.
