Don't expect much from Vivus regarding the following:

I e-mailed this question to Nina over the weekend:

" How much of the 'at risk' product is expected to be shipped to Europe this Quarter?"

Her reply:

" There will not be significant product shipped from the new plant to Europe during the first quarter. We have not disclosed the amount of product that is being produce 'at risk' but most of that product will be sent to the UK during the second quarter. We have not disclosed exactly how much product will be produced in the new plant upon FDA approval but we have said when the new plant is fully operational, together with the old plant, will quintuple current product production."

I guess they have their mind set on being tight-lipped !
