A pre-f study is basically an "expert study" produced by assessing all factors to determine cost of a project. It precedes the bankable feasibility study--"final form"-- which is then shopped to funding sources to underwrite production, or to facilitate shopping the company to a joint partnering w/a bigger fish.

Pre-f basically addresses 3 questions:
1) point out weaknesses to management in time to address them 2) gives existing investors a peek into cost per oz/lb/ton to produce XYZ,
3) extrapolation of reserves, "mine life."

I'm going to do some poking around into their selection of "experts" (TZMI) to see if anybody has EVER heard of them in the circles in which I travel...this will take me a few, so I'll post if and when I turn up any info.
