I don't know about what effect the 27th will have "if any" but I'm on hold till then with any covered call selling just to see. Short term I have got her about 50% right so far, missing about 50%..so nothing to brag about in that respect. I may have been able to day trade her some had I had the nerve..as she had that pattern up early, then back down for over a week , I kinda still think that was brokers shorting to stops in the early day..she started that way today..all in all I'm convinced I'm not near as good at short term trading as I thought I was..and I have done some of it..looks like for me any way I have to focus at least 6 mo out or more.. -------------------------- For a bit early this year I tryed trading the SPY..started when she was 92..while I hit 3 out of 4..the total gain was small and less than if I'd just held..now she is at 110..and even a 15% fall in the market would leave me ahead on her had I just held. I don't see a 15% correction any time soon..while I think she is ahead of herself..15% down in the market is not in the books.. not yet any way. While a 5% drop any week now would not surprise me, I sure try to won't call it. -------------------------------- The odd thing in the last two weeks I've seen at least four early sell signs in the futures before the open..and in each case she opened down but turned back up and made a fool out of the futures..( once in a while or even 50/50 I could understand but 4 times in a row to buck the futures has me puzzeled. Seems she is climbing that wall of worry. Take care Jim
