The question is, why the hell don't they flow some MONEY to that sector? I think Mr. Moore may have answered that for you PX. I don't mean just being able to open a Windows menu. I mean getting to the point where you can talk to your computer and it can answer back Is there anything that leads you to believe that the players that are now working on speech recognition through pattern matching will have anything to do with the development of an artificially intelligent AUI? I mean technology wise isn't it safe to assume that the AUI of the future will be 1 part SR and 99 parts AI? SR players can only hope to license their tech to those that will truly make the AUI happen IMO. Certainly there is money to ba made there if this happens. But by then we may have moved on to an AI based SR rather then pattern matching based SR technology. Do you follow me? Jon Bird
