Analysis at close on 3/23/98. Updated AMAT through XCIT. NASDAQ Last signal sell on 19 Mar. Not a real commanding break up today. I think I would ignore the signal. Slight uptrend and the volatility is increasing to the upside. ADPT Last signal buy to cover on 23 Mar. Neutral trend sitting on lower bollinger band. AMAT Last signal sell short on 18 Mar. In a moderate downtrend. Forecasted a sell signal today and we got it. I'm looking for a run down to $30, just looking at the past support and resistance levels. AMD Last signal sell or sell short on 18 Mar. Neutral trend. Expect a run down to the $20 to $21 level.. AMZN Last signal buy on 18 Mar. On a nice uptrend, ready to break out good to the upside. Volatility is increasing smartly. Good high volume today as well. Real nice uptrend.. AOL Last signal buy on 23 Mar. Good solid uptrend still. ARX Last signal buy on 10 Mar. It was up against the resistance at $50 anyways. Did a real nice run from $45 to $48 using the signals. Look for next buy in opportunity--because of the uptrend or sell the $50 calls for Apr. CKFR Last signal sell on 18 Mar. Another stochastic peak. Sell or write covered calls--the Apr $25s into the uptrend. Upside resistance is pegged at $25. CLST Last signal sell on 18 Mar. The uptrend is flattening out and has been losing momentum since the beginning of March. I wouldn't even mess with writing upstrike covered calls because the trend seems to be neutralizing. Good uptrend as it goes to a higher level. IIT Last signal buy on 23 Mar. Neutral trend and narrow bollinger bands. Very low volatility. Looks like its going to break to the upside. Likely to be a 15% gainer really quick. LCCI Last signal buy on 19 Mar. Didn't move much today. Expect a big move on 20 Mar. Good solid uptrend going. Will breakout for next run on 20 Mar. Up against resistance at $4.00. Good solid uptrend. Look for next opportunity to buy in. See how much the $5.00 calls are selling for. MEDA Last signal sell on 23 Mar. Support at $10.50. MIND Last signal buy on 19 Mar. I think this will go to $20 which is the upper resistance level. Currently trading at $17. MPDI Last signal sell on 19 Mar. Its right at the $7 resistance level too. MSFT Last signal buy on 19 Mar. Getting whipsawed because of the narrow bands. MUEI Last signal sell short on 23 Mar. Good downtrend and peak in stochastics. A break below $11.25 goes to $10. NORT Last signal buy on 20 Mar. I think this just completed a basing pattern. Should be starting a fresh uptrend. Upside resistance is at about $1.80. NSCP Last signal sell or sell short on 18 Mar. Very narrow bollinger band making it difficult to get the breakout direction right. Its been forming a base and the moving average on stochastics is trending up nicely. Its sitting right on a solid support level. In this instance I would ignore the sell signal, wait for the upside breakout which is what I think will really happen and ride it to the resistance level of $24 from the current $20. A downside break however goes to $15 to $17. ORCL Last signal buy on 18 Mar. Because of the uptrend, this thing is going to break through resistance at $30. Next resistance level past $30 is $32.50 or $35. OXHP Last signal buy to cover on 23 Mar. PNDA Last signal sell short on 20 Mar. Only problem is you can't short below $5.00. That's a real problem. You can buy the in the money $5.00 puts though if they are available on PNDA. PRMS Last signal sell on 20 Mar. I'd be afraid of the countrertrend drop with this highly volatile stock. I would consider selling it short agians the uptrend because of the really high volatility that is peaked. Don't write calls. Just sell it. Support at $22.50. PSIX Last signal sell on 16 Mar. QCOM Last signal sell or sell short on 20 Mar. Narrow bands and neutral trend. Bias for a downside break. Volatility set to increase a lot. First support is at $45. QWST Last signal sell on 16 Mar. I don't think its got the muscle to get past it. I still think its a good short. It closed right at $45 on 19 Mar. SYNT Last signal buy on 18 Mar. Still in an uptrend, but it isn't as strong as it was. Look for a break past $37. TDFX Last signal sell on 12 Mar. TMAR Last signal buy or buy to cover on 18 Mar. Its in a neutral trend with resistance on the upside at $21 5/16. TMX Last signal sell on 19 Mar. Still on a good uptrend. Look for consolidation. Volatility is up against resistance at the upper band. TRBO Last signal sell short on 23 Mar. On a good downtrend. TSSW Last signal sell or sell short on 23 mar. Narrow bands and neutral trend make this a no play in my opinion. TTRR Last signal sell or sell short on 19 Mar. Getting whipsawed by narrow bands, low volatility. Watch for breakout direction on volume. UEIC Last signal buy on 13 Mar. VECO Last signal sell short on 18 Mar. Its in a moderate downtrend and the stochastic just peaked and hooked downward. Support at $25. Could be a good 25% gainer in just a few weeks. Volatility set to increase. VLSI Last signal sell on 18 Mar. I think I'd ignore the signal since its forming a nice base at a good support level. Volatility set to increase. WCII Last signal buy on 16 Mar. WTT Last signal a real storng sell short on 20 Mar. Solid downtrend with a peak on stochastics. XCIT Last signal sell on 23 Mar. Very disappointing. Didn't do what we expected.
