I do not believe for one minute that Stern in New York could not have caused SOME financial publication of some sort to begin to tell the Cycomm story. The company does not have to be profitable for that to happen. I have read too many articles about too many half assed companies who don't make any money and heaven only knows when and if they plan to. Yet their stock trades up on anticipation and that is exactly what is supposed to happen. It is not some secret mystery as to just what it is that Cycomm is doing and you would be hard pressed to find somebody who knows with the possible exception of the few who write on this thread and a few on the Yahoo thread...{such as that is}
Will someone please tell me why not one single word that I have seen has been published since the article appeared in the Individual Investor. That was last year! Don't tell me that something is not right here!
When I was at Cycomm last December Bud told me that a full page in the WSJ cost $100,000.... So be it. What does a 1/4 page for a spin article cost in something like the Individual Investor.. You are ALL correct when you say that nobody knows about Cycomm.....WHY???
And until they do any contract announcement or any favorable corporate news will go just as unnoticed as all has in the past. On that conference call last week was Dean Witter, Paine Webber,Hambreck and Quist and Vesco Securities.. Evidentally they didn't hear one word to excite them about the future OR there would probably have been some volumn and SOME movement of the stock. I watched today and a sale went off at the ask of 2 5/16 and I swear the MM dropped the ask to 2 1/4. Does anyone have any answer for that? While we sat there and listened to the call the profitability factor went from Q2 to Q3... another miss. After I came home from Cycomm I loaded up on the stock and I mean loaded up. I don't expect anything SHORT term but I have paused to wonder about what is really happening as to this PR factor. They read these threads at Cycomm. I found that out....maybe we should flood them with this one complaint. To give you an example of what I am talking about..just before Christmas I told a friend about my investment in Cycomm and HE asked me for the investor package which I gave him and he read every word of it over a week end and on Monday morning he started buying and continued on thru Jan 15th or so an he has bought 45,000 shares and I might add he is in at right at 1 5/8.
Needless to say he is currently thrilled to death. As you all know I don't write much on this thread and you may not hear from me again but I am somewhat disgusted with this OBVIOUS lack of information available to the investing public and I still ask you.... WHY???
