robert, this was also on my mind.
cuba will be a meca within 10 years IF the U.S. govt will allow investments and if cuba will allow investments.
a true family story:
in 1954-55? my father and several other investors bought 2 WW II LST's (very large landing crafts used to bring in supplies etc.to beachheads) and started a barge service between miami and habana. to make it a real short story, a hurricane sank one of their crafts and castro seized the other. investment......all gone!
any way, as a young boy i remember him telling stories to his pals (yes i was a lurker then!) about his trips to cuba.....fishing, gaming, ....and other "things".
it is a very large island and americans will stream to the country when the doors are open.
i would love to visit cuba, fish, tour, and catch some of their baseball games.
one day there will be a major league baseball team in habana...imo.
lets see what your thread brings our way!
