Joe,

I had a nice talk with Joe Murphy this afternoon and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions. To those that have not talked with Joe in person, he is a very up front and no-nonsense type of person that obviously cares about and is willing to spend time with his shareholders. However since he is only one very busy man and there are a lot of shareholders (DCI now has about 3,500 shareholders, so the investor base has expanded by quite a bit over the past few months) , I for one don't plan to call him too often.
Joe told me that after many months of DD the WP deal has been signed as of today. Joe asked me to assure everyone that the company is aware of the need of good PR and that steps have been and will be taken to deal with that problem. The old web site is being completely rebuilt and will contain a significant amount of addl. financial info that was not on the old site. There are a couple stories being written to introduce DCI to new investors, exactly where these will be published and when is not known but the problem of a lack of exposure is being worked on. Joe also wanted me to convey that he is serious about dealing with those that maliciously attack the company and it's shareholders on this BB and that if required those parties responsible will face legal actions. (The company won a slander suit in 1995 BTW) I hope it does not come to this, we need management's time free to complete M/A's.

One other thing I wanted to add, not related to the phone call. I believe that some of us (I count myself as being guilty of this in at least one case) have developed an aversion to newcomers to this BB that show up with an email address and an alias name. In the recent past we had a group that came to the BB obviously with an agenda to try and hurt the company, all of whom showed up with an alias name and no email address. I think it is a mistake however to try and stereotype all newcomvers without an email address and an alias as "newbies" and being bad people since there will also be some new good people coming to the BB and I would not want newcomers in general to feel unwelcome here. The bad apples will show their cards soon enough, but how about we withold judgement until then? To the lurkers reading this and considering signing up to post on this thread, unless there is a serious reason not to do so, how about using your real name and giving an email address when you sign up?

James
