Roebear, Everyone said Lionel is at a metal detector show. I have never heard of one. There are gold shows with dealers but not a show for metal detectors. I have used several brands of metal detectors for the past 15 years. Also discussed with Jim which one to buy 3 years ago. There is one brand specifically designed for gold. It's call a Minelab. It is from Australia. There are other brands, like Whites, Garrett and Fisher. They are OK. Not something to spend money to take a trip for. So, BCMD blows more money on needless trips. All Jim had to do is ask. martin
