HMTT follower: Several posts here about KMAG is completely correct. I suggest you guys check Komag's press release to get correct picture on Kmag and to gain more insight on the data storage sectors. Komag's home page is komag.com. Komag's recent press release shows that it made $0.31 last quarter. I also get impression that KMAG has successfully made transition from 1800 Oe to 2000 Oe product. I thinks Kmag's 2000 Oe film for Proximity head does have an impact on HMTT's revenue. I remember HMTT in May-June was trying to have secondary equity offer to raise money to expand its manufacture capacities. It later withdrew the offer due to the share price decline. From reading KMAG's press release (both 1996 and 1995), I know KMAG is expanding capacities aggressively. I do not know if it has any negative impact on HMTT's revenue.
