Robert, The SEC is looking into the price manipulation of ACRT. It may be a year or more before anything is done for a number of reasons. They are not a police force, and they don't enforce by arrests, forced compliance, etc. They do a thorough investigation, document the entire process from beginning to end, and then file lawsuits and/or criminal complaints against the offending parties. Sometimes, it can take years before penalties are finally enforced for noncompliances of SEC regulations. But, ultimately, it happens.
There is no problem with shorts presenting their arguments on an open forum. It is slander and fraud when they tell lies about individuals and a Company in an effort to drive away investors. Pink and Company have been posting one lie after another about ACRT and it's management. ACRT has in fact been doing what they can about the shortseller's attacks. They provided news releases explaining the extent of the problem, denied allegations, and, if you had called them, would have provided the details necessary for you to discover that these lies by pink were, in fact, lies. Pink himself provided sources. If you had checked them out, you would have found pink's own sources said he was telling you absolute lies. But, about ACRT, they have started a stock buyback, they have been upfront and answered every one of pink's allegations, even the personal attacks, and have been investigating pink and his coworkers on their own. I have no doubt, they too, will sue the hell out of pink, Dan L., and every other person involved in the organized group that has been manipulating the price. I have no doubt we stockholders of record will, too. |
