Raymond... Actually I do use both, but sometimes chart reading does not tell the story. I'd be happy to concede that but isn't it just as equal in saying sometimes fundamental research does not tell the whole story?? Case in point: All 100% technical analysts, if they abided by the basic rules, should have sold Oxford Health (OXHP) after it fell below key moving averages on heavy volume (and this was before the 70% drop). All 100% fundamentalists weren't worried though....and they were hit hard. Having read every single 10k and ever single 10Q wont save you in situations where the information being provided in those sources is wrong to begin with (and you don't know it).
