Nick - The Sound Clips are not like a cassette. They are little clip-like pieces that snap into the Flashback. As far as this new technology is concerned, the way it is promoted will "make or break it". I hope a good technology isn't lost because it isn't promoted properly. I still say they should go after the college-age crowd. Yes - it might be a little expensive, but so are a lot of other things kids buy these days. Younger people are not intimidated by new technology and they learn to use it quickly. This might not be the case with middle-age execs who "can't be bothered -- let the secretary do it". College kids could use the Flashback to record lectures and save them as WAV files, send messages home to parents with the VoiceLink (saving the cost of long-distance calls), send messages to friends, etc. Kids like gadgets, and I'll bet they'd think of many ways to use Flashback and Voicelink. Well, I'm glad the product has been released, and I hope it does well, but my fingers are crossed.
