Two changes to LSI Logic management announced: Elie Antoun Named Executive Vice President LSI Logic Consumer Products - 08:32 p.m Mar 23, 1998 Eastern MILPITAS, Calif., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Elias (Elie) Antoun, who has been managing LSI Logic Japan, was named today as executive vice president of the company's Consumer Products Division. Antoun will be responsible for overseeing the product development, engineering and marketing of the company's Consumer Products Division. He will report directly to Wilfred J. Corrigan, LSI Logic chairman and chief executive officer. "Elie brings first-hand knowledge of the requirements of major customers in the high-volume, high-growth consumer products market to the job," said Corrigan. In his previous role in Japan, Antoun oversaw the LSI Logic Japan's design, marketing and sales operations. He came to LSI Logic in 1991 as the company's director of Strategic Alliances. Prior to joining LSI Logic, Antoun was the director of Manufacturing, Finance and Administration at Heuristic Physics Lab, Inc. He also was a process engineering manager at Xicor Inc. MILPITAS, Calif., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Chiaki Terada, who earlier directed LSI Logic's manufacturing operations in Tsukuba, Japan, today was named President of LSI Logic Japan. Terada will oversee the company's design, marketing and sales operations in Japan. He will report to Richard W. Marz, LSI Logic executive vice president of Geographic Markets. Prior to the Gresham assignment, Terada was the president and chief executive officer of LSI Logic Japan Semiconductor, Inc. He began his career with the company as the general manager of operations for LSI Logic Japan. Terada received his bachelor's degree in applied chemistry from Yokohama National University.
