Of all the TA'ers out there in oil and gas land Ron was the only one that was consistently bullish over the past few weeks. No way dude. TA does work, and I use it to trade when I have time to follow the market closely. Since lately real work has been very busy, I stayed in long with call options, that's how bullish I've been. And I've been sleeping pretty well. The majority of my options have expirations of May, and some (NE) expire in June. I knew it was simply a matter of time before oil prices headed back up. How many Summers have oil prices stayed real low? Probably not many. Part of TA is support and resistance levels, which takes time to analyse on a stock by stock basis. Actually all TA is time consuming, so when I don't have time, I don't do the TA. Certainly every TAer acknowledges that news overules TA to a large extent. That's the caveat. DK
