jtechkid, < again, i like amat but i'm short now and will be gladly buy it in the 25-28 doller range. the stock will probably go then to 22 as usually their is a panic when people realize 1998 could look like 1996> I don't know how long you've been posting these lines and since then INTC, CPQ, MU, and many more tech companies had preannounced. What is amazing is AMAT is holding and in fact has moved up slightly. Any good reason for this? Roly
