True rally or rank speculation--the former I hope.

Ironcarbide reportedly folded today at $1.45--I'm not sure the bid was ever that high, but I honestly don't know. He did not hold a large position, though, if he sold everything at that price, I would imagine.

The Yahoo board and this one (at times) seems intrigued by this fellow's crystal ball predictions. We'll see tomorrow how much of the recent price movement has been driven by this silliness versus some emerging developments, to wit:

1) IBM's featuring of WAVX at IBM's booth at the publishers' convention in NYC last week;

2) Mr. Sprague's WallStreetForum presentation, reported by reputable contributors to this thread--including positive references to OEMs and content-providers;

3) Original IBM press release comment that seemed to suggest product announcements would likely precede Q3--Q4 at the latest;

4) Successful private placement;

5) Somewhat speculative on my part, but I continue to find it significant that even with recent licensing revenue and private placement commitment, WAVX seems to be passing on internet conventions that used to appear front-page on its website. I think visibility is now a lower priority, which may mean WAVX knows IBM will carry that burden as things move forward. Simple allocation of limited time and resources--comes with having confidence in your partnership arrangements;

6) Wahoograd mentioned tonight some interesting developments with IBM folks going over to WAVX, and I have no reason to doubt Wahoograd's credibility--does anyone else?

I continue to believe the emerging issue for true WAVX longs is what will be a fair valuation of the stock if a succession of news releases gets this thing running. May be too early to tell, but for people with large positions (seems like several on this thread) you have to consider whether to trigger a recognition of capital gains and/or miss a continuing rally if you pause to take profits. Remember, the big players are not going to get in for a ride from $1.50 to $3.25. We're on the OTC Bulletin Board here. Many institutional players, I have heard, are prohibited or strongly discouraged from buying stocks under $5.00, or on this exchange.

Enjoy the ride.
