I am truly fascinated by this company and its products, although, I have to acknowledge that they got number of competitors now. IMO, however, I still see Broadcom has an edge since they are covering all of the emerging broadband applications on the market as oppose to their competitors covering some. From that stand point it makes them as an excellent buy(investment value). From trading(short term) prospective I have the following question. Could anyone tell me using an ipo as hot as this one supposed to be and the same underwriters, when is the best time to buy them on the first day, i.e morning, first half, end of the day, etc. I was trying to look at a few hot ipo's such as RMBS, ATHM, DCLK but could not get an intraday information during the first day of trading.
