OROM appears to be a wonderful ROM technology for pre-recorded materials, with rapid access, stability, minature size and convenience for hand-held devices. But it really isn't a competitor to Iomega's Clik! drive, since the main function of the Clik! is to provide rapid read-write storage media to small devices, such as cameras (film substitute) and Microsoft CE handheld divices. Clik! will provide a quick way to move up to 40 MB of user-created data from handheld devices to laptops or desktops and back. OROM is cheaper than the Clik media, but it is ROM, not read-write many media. Or am I missing something?
