There are two solutions to this.

1. delete and re-export the data everyday. (slow but effective).

2. new improved way in QP2

As usual Mr. Smith has to have a unique perspective even if it does not solve the present problem a person may have today, right now.

We have been waiting for QP2 since end of 1996, and I remember you as the guy who kept insisting that was not a true statement, and some other posters had to correct you. Go back and look on the QPlus post.

QP compares their data nightly and issues corrections the next day. Obviously all will have some errors.... Dial data is a joke. They don't support error checking or correction. I know chan likes reuters. I don't like the MS Downloader and BTW: MS won't let you
do some FUNNYMENTAL analysis as you can when you use QP as a data source

Even after QP compares their data we still get errors or differences from other sources. As for Fundamental Data, anybody using MS6.5 would not be able to manipulate fundamental data. So the question of fundamental data does not arise. You forgot to tell that they would also not be able to use astrological data too.

And as for QP as a source of Fundamental Data, in the present form one cannot do searches on it. Maybe in QPlus 2.0. Well we are waiting for it to arrive, then maybe you could expound your knowledge on the use of it. Tell then we have to manage with what we have.

This happens to be a Metastock thread where people who bought and use Metastock are asking for help. Your solutions are to go after different software. There are many other software and data vendors out there that you forget to mention.

But that will still not take care of problems just add new features.

Not a very accurate statement. I think you will be pleasently surprised.....

We will see how an upgrade can solve bad data problem.

Don't waste my time by adding any other rambling posts to me. We know you are anti Dial Data and Equis.
