Hi, thanks for the information. I'll have to find that issue of Astronomy. For any charting of SPDV and most other OTC stocks go to bigcharts.com They are the best on the web in my opinion, with lots of options and features.
Hmmm... so they do get complete ownership of whatever asteroid they land on. This is sounding pretty good. And a timeframe for 99-00 for the launch. Although admittedly in any enterprise this ambitious, delays are to be expected.
I have some general questions for anyone on the thread, as always any info is appreciated:
-What is the size of the asteroid they will be shooting for? And what is known of the average composition of asteroids in this area? If we can answer these two questions we can work out a rough(very rough) mineral value to expect.
-What value is too be expected in the area of scientific samples returned from the asteroid? For example if they found something truly unique and previously unencountered in science, would this earn revenue for SpaceDev?(sorry to sound so mercenary here, I would be happy with any new discovery in science, but shareholders in SPDV would also have to look at the bottom line)
-Does anyone know what the going rate is for instrument/experiment testing in spaceflight, as SPDV is expecting to charge for this too.(eg. what does NASA charge to take something up in the shuttle?)

I'll look into these too and post any info I find.

Justin Curran.
