I just noticed something curious in their latest press release at biz.yahoo.com

They go out of their way to use a negative-sounding statement (bad move, IMO) as follows:

Although the new contract only increases our forecasted 1998 health care related income by less than 2% from $10.2 million to $10.5 million

Why on earth would someone include a phrase like this, which roughly translates to "actually, this news is no biggie"?!?

But not just that. "over $300,000" is actually more than 3% of $10.2 million, not the "less than 2%" they cite.

Weird.
