The most obvious suitor would be Computer Associates (CA). CA bailed them out last year with a $10M loan and there has been talk of a preferred stock placement with them as well. CA might decide to buy them out at one shot instead of buying them piecemeal, i.e., first the debt, then preferred stock, etc. Given that Centura's stock sells for less than 1/15th of CA's stock and given that CA has a healthy cash balance, it will most likely be a cash deal. But this is just (idle) speculation as of now.
