George - Hear's another FLASH from the news wire.... SUN MICROSYSTEMS INC. (Monday's close 44) is expected Tuesday to announce that TELEFON AB L.M. ERICSSON (Monday's close 48) will license Java for use in cellular telephones, the New York Times reported. Sun is also close to a licensing deal with consumer electronics goliath SONY CORP (Monday's close 85-3/16), an industry executive with knowledge of talks between the two companies told the Times. Sun is also close to announcing an agreement with IBM Corp. (Monday's close 101-3/8) in which the two companies will agree to cooperate on developing a Java operating system for a variety of consumer and embedded applications, the Times said.
