micheal..this move up the network line is a slow process. I'm a director of I/S.. I now get the onboard network card from cpq. If I get a chance I'll move up the line with them. I like having one vendor to put pressure on and one vondor to blame if there is an issue. The only reason IBM gave the one vndor solution a bad name was they quite being innovative. Cpq on the other hand says move the technology as fast as it can move...most competitors can't keep up. Cpq has made some territory mistakes..telecom in mid 80's , printers in 90's... but moving up the line will turn out to be good move.. practically speaking in our career we just have gigabyte interface cards. they need that first. question..are you an analyst or a director of I/S. ??? another question..is there any tech company you are positive on?? another question..do you have some of the early puts on cpq?? thanks in advance for your answers.
