We are close, Very close. The FDA recognizes that the Statenseruminstitut of Denmark is one the most renown institutes in the world involved in the developement and manufacture of vaccines. The FDA recognizes Sweden as the country of choice in which to conduct trials on pertussis vaccines. The FDA thru the CDC and the ACIP recognize that NVX's pertussis vaccine has demonstrated that it is effective and extremely safe in a project being conducted by the Swedish Government. The project is the largest post marketing study of its kind ever conducted on an accellular pertussis vaccine. The project involves in excess of 60,000 infants and "the excellent safety profile of this vaccine has been maintained with no infants in the project experiencing any serious vaccine related adverse reactions." The FDA recognizes that NVX has build and succesfully operated for over a year , the most advanced "leading edge" vaccine manufacturing facility of its kind in the world. The FDA recognizes that NVX will be able to conform to their more stingent requirements concerning product quality and consistancy in manaufacturing.
