Stewart:

Y2K problems are of particular issue for large enterprise-wide software deployments where date references can be hidden by the sheer magnitude of the code. It is fairly straightforward to test current handsets for Y2K compliance and certainly this will not be an issue for Qualcomm.

The problem, if it does manifest itself, will most likely derive from older analog phones that were manufactured before anybody was thinking about, or concerned with, Y2K compliance.

Best Regards,

Gregg
