I read the chop stock article. Interesting how scammers can buy the restricted stocks for pennies and trade them as "growth stories". Makes you think there are many useless certificates of corporations floating around that are being used in the scams. OTOH, thinking further, how is this different from the many micro penny stocks that are being sold over the phones by unscrupulous penny stock brokers. Perhaps the moral of the story is to stay away from unknown name stocks. Never know whether there is a valid business or it is just a corporate shell name for pumping and dumping. d
