DMG field trip to Charles Schwab George Gilbert (DMG analyst) posted a research note this morning describing a trip they hosted for some of their clients to visit Schwab and see their Vantive deployment. Scwab was looking for the ability to connect specific customers to specific employees and to anticipate their (i.e., the customers) needs. Vendor choice was based on features, tools, support capability and price (in that order). Next step is supposed to be a beauty contest between Vantive and SEBL to choose a vendor to unify all of the customer applications (enterprise-wide). Sorry if this is old news-I've been away from the thread for awhile.
