He has a long history of managing $$$, at times in the billions, and beating the averages. I don't recall him investing (or even talking about) the oil sector during the last year. He was just answering Beeble's question.

That said, his post is very logical. Every bull on this thread who claimed that the price of oil has no effect on drilling (Wrong!) has said it is demand that counts. If supply is being cut just to get the price back up to the level of recent years, than it seems demand growth is waning. With the ASEAN economic paralysis, that should be no shock.
