Nancy,
The gifts and the call is irrevocable, but what are they? Is the call to repentance in Jesus Christ irrevocable? The gift of salvation irrevocable? The promise irrevocable? Yes,yes, yes! Those are spiritual promises, but you are thinking they are promises in the flesh. You keep stumbling over the difference between the spirit and the flesh. The flesh did not receive any promises. If you put any hope in receiving any gifts because of your flesh then you will be disappointed. The lineage of your flesh entitles you to nothing. Only those born of the Spirit of God are entitled to the promises.

cya,

Bob
