Albert, Welcome to the thread. As Sonny Said, All opinions welcome, but we do all make our own decisions. RE: If Merced would change it then you would have to wait for long while until merced would be in desktops... Merced is/will be geared more towards the high end servers and heavy duty power users. This may sound strange but most users won't need that much horse power on the desktop. Sure as a programmer I would love to have a merced on my desk (or next to it) but its only as fast as the rest of the network which I need for other files. Glad your making money off intel which ever style you use there's always money to be made from it. I also like your view of buying competitors, I guess you can cover your bases that way too.
