Tony when is the last time you went to compusa or microcenter etc. There is huge demand for amd based system and seems no shortage of supply. Also I have to admit last time I went to microcenter they told me that compaq 4550 is sold out and I have to wait till next week shipment to get one. But they were willing to reserve one for me because it is likely that they would be sold out by the end of the week. There was also some pentium based systems on a specially reserved table for k6 based systems. Salesperson explained it to me that I can find a demo 4550 system together with pII systems. The pentiums ended up on k6 table because microcenter wanted to move them as quickly as possible and it seems that k6 was attracting most of the buyers. Just to think that microcenter would hide "intel inside" in order to sell the system :-)) -Albert
